This year, 8 electric boats are available for rent in the Vechtdal, spread across 3 locations, allowing you to discover the beautiful surroundings! You can rent them for two hours, half a day, or inquire about the possibilities at one of the locations. The spacious sloop is suitable for up to 6 people, so you can enjoy a wonderful day on the water with family or friends.
Easy to steer
This sloop easily takes you to the most beautiful spots in the Vechtdal!
All the time
You can book the boat for 2-hour periods; this may vary by location. You can view the options via the booking system.
Electric
Easy to charge electrically. You can sail the boat in 2-hour blocks. You can also rent multiple time blocks, or ask about the possibilities at one of the locations!
Prices
The price is €40 per hour. You can customize your tour in the booking system. You will also see the costs immediately.

OerHardenbergs product
The founders, creators, and makers of the Vechtfloat are Jelle Timmermans and Gert Kremer. The idea originated three years ago. The pontoon boat is ideally suited for navigating the Overijssel Vecht due to its shallow draft of approximately 15 to 30 cm. The boat has two floats on the underside, allowing the Vechtfloat to drift forward easily without displacing much water. The motor is operated with a single steering cable and lever. The boat runs on electricity in the form of a battery pack. The design by the young men from Hardenberg ensures optimal efficiency of the electric motor.
Boarding at 3 locations in the Vechtdal
There are three boarding points for this e-boat. Each company with its own story, but the same unique boats!
The electric Vechtfloat has three boarding locations. You can board the Vechtfloat from their existing jetty. Renting out the e-boat is a great addition to their activities. Vechtfloat aims to spread recreational boating throughout the Vechtdal, with even more boarding points in the future. Everyone involved strives for more sustainable boat rentals, where the experience and nature conservation go hand in hand.
The three rental locations are: Vechtdal Hooglanders, Vechtdal Express, and Aspergeboerderij het Nijenhuis.
